Foodism

I cannot believe summer is almost over and i still haven't entirely explore the real city of Jakarta. Damn i'm gonna miss you so much Jakarta. This time i went to a restaurant called Foodism in Fx mall. I will always remember this place as one of my favorite hang out place, i remember spending my rest time here after a hard long community service with some special friends. The restaurant is located at the 7th floor, the decoration is fairly good, they have a buddha statue and some artsy painting that i am quite a fond of. The food that i had was the "nasi goreng kampoeng", basically its a fried rice with Krupuk and satay. The nasi goreng in my opinion was too spicy, i really would prefer if they make it not so spicy, but i still managed to finish it, thank god. It was good though, i know that i cannot tolerate spicy foods but since i can, meaning it was okay i suppose, what i love about fried rice is that they have a combination of egg roll, mushroom, onion, shrimp and meat, the combination was really good in the category of a fried rice so i like it. Overall its a good place if you want to just chill with friends and spend a long long lunch or dinner, the mood was pretty tasteful too:)

Abuba

God i should really stop eating steak all the time but its just one of those personal cravings right? I just love everything about steak starting from cutting it to little pieces so i can chew it easily, the tender and juicy meat that gives anyone a bliss of tingling in your tongue, the fat which is superb, and of course the smell of a medium well done barbecue flavor that makes your stomach growls, everything about steak makes a sanctuary for all food lovers. And whats more is that this place that i went in Cipete Raya called Abuba serves a good quality steak for a very cheap price, its like a take out food but the concept is about steak, I ordered the sirloin one, thats my favorite cause the meat is much softer compared to a tenderloin. For dessert i ordered a Es Podeng, my friend said it was really good, but i guess for me the combination of bread, ice cream, fruits, chocolate and sweets was just too much. Overall it is a nice place and food if you want a cheap steak!
