Tonkatsu

This will be the last food blogging i will do for this summer. I would like to thank everyone who has been reading this quest for my entire summer, it has been fun and worthwhile. Obviously i got fat also, but damn it was worth it. Anyways i had this trip to Singapore and my personal favorite restaurant is this Japanese pork restaurant called Tonkichi. The one that i had was in takashimaya and seriously its so good. basically its a restaurant that serves pork cutlet and its the best one ive tried so far. I had the special menu which is the imported pig that is Kurobuta minced, the meat was so juicy and tender that i order another one, let me tell you it was worth it! The crispy outer layer combined with the juicy meat was simply to die for. The sauce that they used was really good too, the sesame seeds which a nut is smashed by yourself with a soysauce that was sweet and salty, it was fun to make the sauce, i got to say! The shredded cabbage was good also, it was fresh and you can always ask for a refill for free. Anyone who is visiting Singapore should definitely try this resto:).
