Seriously i can say that to get to this place was damn, hard. It was not because the place was hidden amidst the road of Central Jakarta, it was because of the debate i had with friends and my mom about the right of using the driver and such, finally after going through the insane traffic, i managed to arrive here at around 9 pm, so it was a very late dinner. I did not expect the place to be so well decorated, just like the other place i went to, Samarra. Turns out the owner is the same! No wonder the place has this similar atmosphere, dark yet cozy. I ordered the Bebek Goreng Lengkoes, Sate Ayam and Botok Tawon. The bebek goreng is served with abon and kecap manis, it was good, the meat of the duck tasted very juicy, the bebek goreng was also served with various vegetables which i think served as a purpose to freshen up my mouth. The sate ayam was great! The taste of the chicken was exquiste, with a taste of sweetness which is really the cherry on top. What I like most though is the Botok Tawon! Its the first time tasting a "bee hive" food, and it was pretty exciting. The taste was unique, what can i say it was really strong taste like a sea urchin but the spices used makes it really good, I love this food, i should try it again when i come here. Overall, it was a pleasant evening.
